The current challenges we face weigh heavily on single-mom families. We offer church and community partners multiple ways to support single mothers.
Help us meet basic needs of single-mom families
Single moms are struggling to make ends meet. You can help a single mom know she is supported and loved by donating items like:
- Shampoo & conditioner
- Shower gel & soap
- Toothbrush & toothpaste
- Toilet paper
- Laundry detergent
- Lotion
- Deodorant
- Kleenex
- Paper towels
- Dishwashing soap
We also continually accept gift card donations of $25–50. Gas and grocery gift cards, as well as those to Target and Walmart, help single mothers meet basic needs.

2nd Annual Walk for The Single Mom KC
Join The Single Mom KC for a family-friendly walk on Saturday, November 4, to show your support for single moms in the Kansas City area. Help us fundraise and demonstrate the strength of our local area, so no single mom walks alone!
