Walk for TSMKC

Introducing Walk for TSMKC

2022 kicked off TSMKC’s first annual Walk for The Single Mom KC: So No Single Mom Walks Alone. Despite unusually cold temperatures, more than 100 individuals came out to Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park to show their solidarity and support for single moms and helped us raise over $10,000.

Welcoming two new staff members

TSMKC was pleased to welcome Michelle Hartegan, volunteer coordinator, and Marisa Moylan, children’s director, to the team. Michelle and Marisa’s job positions are key to ensuring TSMKC’s ability to respond to recent growth and provide for moms within its programs.

Program growth across the board

More moms and kids attended TSMKC programs and workshops in 2022 than ever before, with average attendance growing by 60% across its single-mom programs. As it continues to reach ever-growing numbers of single-mom families, TSMKC remains committed to its relational core that allows for depth of programs.
